Installation & care

• Disconnect power, use ESD-safe tools, and avoid bending the pack.
• After install: charge to 100%, rest 2 h, discharge to ~10%, then charge back to 100% to calibrate.
• On newer macOS, you can temporarily disable “Optimized battery charging” during calibration.

Note: Some 2016–2020 MacBook Pro / 2018–2020 Air batteries are strongly bonded to the top case;
experienced installation is recommended.
